AAU

The AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) is one of the largest youth sports organizations in the United States, governing amateur competition across many sports. AAU tournaments, particularly in basketball, are heavily scouted by college coaches.

AAU basketball is a primary recruiting pipeline for college basketball, with major tournaments drawing hundreds of coaches.

AAU also sanctions events in volleyball, track, and other sports.
