    Recruiting Periods & Visits

    Quiet Period

During a quiet period, college coaches may have in-person contact with recruits only on the coach's campus. Coaches may not visit athletes at their high schools, homes, or competitions, but phone and digital communication is allowed.

Quiet periods are a good time for unofficial and official visits, since face-to-face contact is permitted on campus.

Off-campus evaluation and contact remain restricted.
