    Commitment & Signing

    Regular Signing Period

The regular signing period is the longer spring window when recruits can sign a National Letter of Intent. It follows the early signing period and gives athletes who waited — or whose plans changed — the opportunity to finalize their commitment.

Many athletes sign during the regular period, especially in sports with later timelines.

The period can span weeks to months depending on the sport.
