    Commitment & Signing

    Signing Day

Signing Day is the first day of a signing period when recruits can officially sign a National Letter of Intent. It is the moment a verbal commitment becomes binding, and it is a major milestone in the recruiting timeline.

There is typically an early signing period in the fall and a regular signing period in the spring.

Not all athletes sign on the first day — many sign later in the period.
